The objective of the training is to make endeavors towards creating awareness among the youth about disasters and natural calamities and to prepare them in advance to face such situation and to ensure their participation in the disaster mitigation plans.
Disaster Management and First Aid Training Programmes have been taken-up in coordination with Indian Red Cross Society in all the districts.
During the training, subjects like disaster management, first-aid, psycho-social care, public health in emergencies, search and rescue, health hygiene and sanitation, climate change etc., will be covered.
